Two major signings for DCU Mercy

DCU Mercy have made two major player signings ahead of the upcoming 2019/2020 Women’s Superleague Basketball Season.

DCU Mercy have just added two new player signings to their Superleague roster from the sports changes life programme; Ashley Russell & Meredith Burkhall.

Ashley Russell

Ashley Russell is a 5’10” Senior from Braintree, Mass. Some of Ashley’s career accomplishments are below but you can read the full list of Ashleys accolades & impressive career stats here

Meredith Burkhall

Appeared in all 31 games for the Cyclones, starting in 22...averaged 6.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game...scored in double figures in four games on the year and hauled in double-figure rebounds once...netted 19 points against NC Central, going 9-of-11 from the floor and grabbing six boards...tied her career high at Kansas State with 20 points and a career-high 13 rebounds as Iowa State recorded the road win.

Both platers are sports changes life student’s and will study for their Master’s in Business at DCU. They will also represent DCU in the college Division 1 League. We hope you will join all of us at DCU in welcoming Ashley and Meredith to our club and make them feel at home for the duration of the season.
