DCU Mercy player Janet Hodson donated 14 inches of her hair to the Rapunzel Ponytails Foundation - a self funded charity that makes wigs for people suffering from alopecia and is also raising money for CanTeen Ireland, a charity that supports teenagers and young adults with cancer.
With the Super League season now well underway and players of each team well and truly getting into their stride, Basketball Ireland have just announced the player and coaches of the month awards for October. We would like to congratulate DCU Mercy's very own Sarah Fairbanks on receiving the player of the month award for October
Each year DCU Mercy host a Halloween fancy dress themed night in the local Coolock St. Brendan's Parish Hall, for the under aged players of DCU Mercy and the local community. The kids can enjoy some old fashioned halloween dress up games and win cool prizes and treats.
This is the 2016 annual DCU Mercy awards night ceremony. DCU Mercy had another very successful season, and a huge thank you to all of the players, parents, coaches, team managers and table officials etc. who made this year, another very enjoyable season.
